Electronic Arts(the OLD EA, which was so kick ass waybackwhen) made one of the coolest games eva.
Anyone ever heard of VeiwPoint for the Ps1?
but now they've tortured my soul with WestWood's incapactitaion!

Ok, go ahead and start working on the Halo mod. I've talked to Microsoft, Gearbox, Official Xbox Magazine, the Bungie Forums, the Bungie Webmaster, and the person in charge of Jobs at Bungie.

Microsoft was no help.
Gearbox said to talk to Bungie, and they are trying to get some contact info for me.
No response from OXM yet.
No response from the Web Master (it's been less than 24 hrs though).
No response from the person in charge of Jobs.
The people at the Bungie forums said that as long as we don't make money off of it, and as long as we put Copyright of Bungie and all that, it's fine.

I'm still going to try to contact Bungie, but go ahead and start.

weeee! halo! yay....mod! are we going to have a special server just to host this?

kali, u seriously didnt know what happened to westwood til now? hmm....yea they were cool when they were Electronic Arts. that was also back when medal of honor didnt suck =/
and they had nuclear/soviet strike. very good games....ok i'll stop talking now....

Oooh, God. Nuclear strike so 'The BITCH' at my freinds house :)
But then he moved to Canada.... :(
Hm. HALO MOD! Really, what are we gonna host it as? Should we start advertising on other forums? How are we gonna 'ntroduce' players to this new world?

Im currently testing what my comp can do under hibernation mode so i might be able to host a server.

Im testing this coz LAST NIGHT! I DECIDED TO DOWNLOAD DUKES OF MOTHERF*CKING HAZARD AT A IDIOTIC SPEED OF 10KB/S AND IT TOOK ME THE ENTIRE NIGHT AND I COULDNT SLEEP COZ MY COMP WAS BUZZING ALL F*CKING LAST NIGHT AND I ONLY GOT 2 HOURS OF SLEEP SO IM PISSED!

Have you ever had to stay up for 2 1/2 days with no sleep and 3 cups of iced mochas(with whipped cream :p) then having to drive 200+ miles back to your house after an exhausting weekend of work?

I didn't think so.
