what are u tryign to say by maintain?? if u arent running it ur doign nothing.. and theres nothing for u to do..

Is this whole thing over admin? u looking for admin to a server? cause that makes more sence with what ur saying.

post teh specs of ur computer and ur connection and ill tell u if u can..

Tribes is relaly old it takes barely anything to run a server

if ur playing on the same computer it should be fine as long as ur hosting off a separate hard drive as u are playing off of..

this doesnt work with partitions..

i cant host off a seprate harrrdrive because i dont have one but my specs are
Pentiumm 2 proccesor
Broband internet connection
348 MHz
348 mb of ram

what u need to do as a priority is geta new computer and turn what u have into a dedicated server box.... u need a better system.

348 Mghz, and P2?

That cant run Tribes for jack.

U need something like a a minimum of P3, preferrably P4, bout 1.6 Ghz, 512 ram, disk space... hm.. 20 Gig should be sufficient.

tribes runs fine on a 133mhz with 32 megs of ram.

the computer will run a tribes server jsut fine.. but not with him playing on it...
