actually

in terms of laptops, Toshiba Qusimo's are VERY nice, my bro's friend has one, my bro has a inspirion 9200, its decent, Toshiba makes nice laptops, as fasr as IBM goes, yah, IBM's are like...bullet proof, IBM makes good stuff but pricey, BUT heres what i see in laptops...WORK, laptops are made for work, dont buy a laptop for gaming or college, my bro has a dell 9200 i think and it has a 17' wide screen, its imobile, heavy, and hard to use on campus, it sits in his dorm all day, so if ur gonna buy a laptop for college get a 14' in screen with a celeron M or AMD Turion processor something tha tuses little power and gets work done, and with the rest of the money build ur self a gaming rig

AlienWare probably uses the Mom&Pop versions of the CPUs it gets from AMD, so they can be cheap.

no im an AMD fan, for desktops

laptops...danm ill give it to intel, intel centrino...mmm....VERY good processor, now the Intel Centrino Core Duo (dual core centrino)


yah intel has good mobile processors, very good mobile processors, AMD isnt to hot in mobile
