why would you not, its not the point of needing, its the point of saying, i have 8 GHz, and that wasnt me, that was a team of people in italy, they are the first and only people to hit 8 GHz. 8GHz club = 1 member |

Just get a 5Ghz processor and overclock it, you could get over 10Ghz if you over clocked it. |

there is no 5 GHZ processor, the highest frequency from a stock processor was 3.8 i believe |

IBM makes processors that are at least 5 Ghz, but they don't sell them. They require too much power. |

yeah those are super computers, cost 1 million bucks. this is a desktop processor, costs 100 bucks |

They don't use the chips, so it's not in a supercomputer or a powerpc, so quit assuming. They could make an 8 Ghz chip, but you couldn't use a normal wall outlet. |
