i don't know for sure, but it probably costs nothing to make those. maintaining the machines that make them probably cost more :|

You're dead on hammy. My dad works with machines taht make circuitboards. They are extremely expensive (at least by our standards, not the company's) to maintain, and they break down fairly often.

No. he used to work at Honeywell, which is a circuit manufacturing company. He worked on the machines (the machines printed out circuitboards), and actually made some very profitable inventions (millions o $). Too bad they became property of Honeywell, otherwise I wouldn't whine about my crapper of a computer.

He got laid off, even though he was one of their top engineers. Shortly after the plant he worked at was sold to TTM.
