Meh.....ATIs 9800 Pro can do just as good as the PCIx cards can. And it has it's own power supply. :P

Your kidding right? ATI has crappy driver support, primitive graphics rendering, and most of the proprietary software used by the ati cards is older versions bought from Nvidia.say, compare the x800 with 6600gt. the x800 tries to make up for its lack of smartshader 3 and intellisample 3 by overclocking and doubling the ram. oh yeah, and the 6600gt is cheaper.

Driver Solution = Omega Drivers. :)

And to much work is required to install and run PCIx. When the 9800pro can do everything that it can. A guy took the 9800pro slapped Omega drivers on it and clocked it to 600fps.

nvidia is still the most advanced, with the best firmware and SLI,something that even ati's 'crossfire' cant be compared to. crossfire limits the refresh rate to a headache inducing 60hz,and it can only use the lowest amount of pixel piplelines available on the less powerful ati card in CF. Nvidias new 7800GTX 512mb card has 2 gpu's clocked at 500mhz each and it can go SLI for a staggering 2ghz gpu power with a gig of video ram. lets see ati pull that off with crossfire.

yes, those good ol' macs....meh, i have an ATI only cuz they didnt have any Nvidia PCIe cards....i feel silly. oh well, it works. nicely. thats the one thing im slightly biased about: i prefer Nvidia over ATI.
