Also, don't forget that we didn't NEED to use the a bomb in Japan. We had them surrounded. We'd taken all of the other islands around them. The main reason we decided to use the bomb was because we didn't want to lose thousands (possibly millions) of soldiers in a bloody uphill siege. We wanted to save as many US lives as possible while still winning the war.

Seeing as how the government is meant to look out for its' citizens, it better do something quick. That's just point number one. You have the largest homeless rate out of all 20 industrial nations. That's not something to overlook or have your citizens "do themselves".

hmm... about the homeless... if they didnt spend all there time digging through trashcans and begging for money just so they can spend it on beer then mabye i would consider dontating... but untill i see sumtin other than pure lazyness from them... i say screw'em :D

You twisted my point. People need to be willing to do something themselves before they can scream at someone else for not doing it. Many people who complain about the government not helping the poor aren't willing to offer a dime to any homeless person on the street.

the thing is...there are problems in every country. plenty of problems. its just we here in the US seem to enjoy spreading ours around and making them more than they need to be...so instead of bashing the US, maybe we should be thinkin of ways to make it better..? just a thought.

Actually, he's right. An uncorrupt communism is the ideal society. (kinda)
