Ever heard of an autocannon? Have you seen how easy it is for a mech to destroy a tank using only an autocannon? These little buggers are screwed, if they meet up with a mech holding an autocannon. Besides, they said they were reducing the jet capabilities, which means the infantry won't be very mobile in the air, so you can shoot a shell at their feet, wiping out a squad of them. And I don't believe theres any urban combat, so they can't find cover and the like.

the infantry will probably have some means of jamming the mechs targeting gizmos. or scrambling their view ports. u know, so they cant see. anti mech rockets? rail guns? artillery emplacements? who knows.

lol well if u read ur post Shodan thats exaclty y they shouldnt limit jets...the cannon thing will take them out on the ground...i say they give the jets a bit more boost then wat they have now. there for harder to hit in the air

O_O. OMG! Im already in love with this game, and I prolly won't be able to play it! The mech idea is sweet, and wit'd freakin' hilarious if you can kill infantry by mushing um (eww, I got soldier all over my mech's foot...). Anyways, the mech idea is sweet. The mechs prolly won't be uber powerful, otherwise it'd just be mech spam all over the place.
They'll probably have a weakpoint that infantry can exploit to take them down with ease. Anyways, it looks amazing and seems like it'll be a solid sequal to Tribes.
