Does anyone know how to change the background on a map? I know it can't be too hard. I tried going into the .mis and changing it but it didn't work, and I have this really cool background I want to use.

You want to change the image of the background or the color itself?

Changing the color go to:
Mission Group>Landscape>Sky
-Background Color
Its in RGB so change to that color format. Its 8 bit.

If you want to change the actual image go to the same spot in the mission editor and click in the box next to Materila List DML and change it to whatever sky found here: http://www.planettribes.com/catalog/worldsky.html

If you want to create a custom sky and submit, please let me know and Ill walk you through it. Im at work right now and dont have Tribes on my pc. Make sure you press Appy and Ok once you've applied the changes.

See, I tried that, but the sky turns out solid red. The sky I am trying to use is icenitesky.dml on a Broadside map.

Oh, it has to be the sky for that world. I'm sure you could add in some extra code into the map to make it work for that world.
