hammys back but... sadly hammys computer got f-disked and lost all his stuff and for some reason tribes wont install (wont configure with windows xp or somtin) that happens with lots of older games i like like desent2 and doom 1

yea thats program compatibility. i had a similar problem with C&C 95. but not doom...hmmm.. sometimes u have to d/l a patch. or, i think this is how it goes, u right-click on the game icon, go to properties, click the program compatibility thing, and set to it to like, win 95 or 98. like i said, im not sure if thats the exact procedure. sorry if its confusing. |

I'd probably be better to send Hammy the file Zipped instead of the plain 500Mb, unless he doesnt have winzip...do you have winzip? Actually i could send it...or maybe you could have nox's. |
