Macs are pretty good in my opinion. I'm using a black macbook with the expaned memory (4gigs ram). It runs plenty fast, and everything works. The only problem I had was when I tried to download the demo for jedi academy it wouldn't work (prolly because this mac uses an Intel GMA graphics card, which didn't seem to be compatible. I'd appreciate help if anyone has ideas). This macs great for art and music though. I've had literally no errors so far.

Despite this being a month old I just couldn't help posting.

Apple, Inc. is good about hiding their flaws from the general public. Like the iPhone update, they didn't even tell the customers what the hell the update fixed/did. That is just the way Apple works. Hide their flaws.

People are willing to pay money for a nice looking computer instead of a nice working computer.

Security though obscurity is basically Apple's policy.

Well security could be improved if people's main user account wasn't an admin, and actually had to run programs as a user account.

Yeah, Vista fixes that issue in a way with UAC. Though some people can find UAC annoy, I find it nice, especially since I know what UAC does and what is at stake if a malicious program gets elevated permissions.

User Acount Control. It's a setting that prompts you for approval, so that nothing runs with out permission. It's designed to help stop malware and what not. It's just annoying. It would come up every time I ran xfire. As long as you have a good Anti-virus, and you don't go to sites with viruses and mal-ware, you'll be find with it off. I've had it turned off for a year.
