It can be removed without consequence. It's one of those "useless" organs. I always pictured Hammy as being the remaining kidney. Don't ask what happened to the first one.  Top

Lymph is a secondary system of fluids that removes junk that the liver doesn't, but doesn't have a pump like blood. It only moves with physical activity. Hammy's more like the large benign tumor on the side. He's not really dangerous, but he doesn't serve any real purpose.  Top
