Long post so you might just wanna skip it.
By having an extra arm the babie's lungs need to take in extra oxygen to support the cells, causing a risk of making your cells (not just in the extra arm) dieing, starting with things like fingers and toes in all limbs, since the are the furthest away. Also, if you look at picture, it appears that both arms are growing about where shoulder would be, so it wouldn't hurt vital organs, but it could possibly decrease the ability of both arms to functiion. If they are coming from same shoulder then it would make it impossible to move one arm without moving the other, making it hard to do certain things since both arms would move the same way at the shoulder, getting in the way. If there is a ciriculatory error where blood couldn't get to the arm, wouldn't all the cells already be dead instead of it still looking normal in the photo?
