	Author Message TE-Gooberman Joined: Wed Jun 08, 2005 9:14 am Posts: 2797 Location: Minnesota Posted: Sun Jan 08, 2006 1:12 pm    Post subject:   yes peng, but answer me this: when iraq bombed us on 9/11 (and their previous attempts to take out the trade towers) was that justified? no, it wasnt. and they're winning over there. it isnt about being justified or not. we won in germany because the germans were so deadset on killing off all the jews and minorites. if they had focused all their efforts on destroying us, we would've had our asses turned inside out. and japan..well. after germany lost, there wasnt much hope for them, was there? the reason we're losing in iraq is because we went poorly prepared. we went over there expecting to kill osama in afghanistan and be done with it. but then it spread to iraq, and then saddam....we werent ready to take on half of the middle east. and since peng is gonna be posting here after its locked, it can be open to discussion  Top

A lot less crap going on (you know, prostitution, drugs, crime, etc.) My opinion? We're there. We've given them a democracy. Why leave now? We might as well get it done and leave it as a good mark on our record. If we leave, it will only come back to haunt us. In world war II, we left Russia by themselves to get mauled by the germans. They hated us for a long, long time after that. That came back to bite us when the cold war happened. That's one of the main reasons the cold war even started. We don't want this happening in Iraq. The truth is, most of the Iraqis are glad we are there. A good family friend who'd been serving for over 6 months got back, and was astonished at all of the propaganda and half-truths the mass media is spilling out. The only thing the media is talking about is the car bombs, the death of a few soldiers, etc. "Oh Noooo! Too many soldiers are over there! Too many are dying!" In world war I we sent over 3 Million soldiers over to Europe. We sent even more over for reinforcements. We sent the same amount of soldiers just to invade France alone during WWII. We lost over 80,000 troops at the Battle of the Bulge. One battle! ONE BATTLE! Noone ever said this war in Iraq was going to be easy. Our economy? We have the most stable and strong economy in the world. You think gas prices are bad here? A girl from Britian told us about how gas there costs $5 A LITER! ONE LITER! We have it good in the US. In China, if we were talking about our government like this, we'd be put in prison on the spot, maybe even shot for treason. Oh, and about Japan goob, they had a fighting chance. At the battle of Midway (I think) we attacked the Japanese fleet first. Our bombers hit them when they were weakest; they were loading bombs on their planes. We ended up sinking all of their carriers in that fleet. Had it been like the first battle we fought, it probably would have been a farely even match. Remember, they were able to take down China with ease. We didn't just fly over there and drop a couple of Abombs. We lost a lot of soldiers taking down. After all, we also had to liberate the Phillipines and countless other islands. In the Battle of Okinawa alone we lost over 50,000 soldiers.  Top

W. Bush (bush's father)....they were no danger to us. they were a danger to isreal they had missiles that could launch into isreal and we are an "ally" to isreal that is why we invaded iraq. and most of the terrorists are in Saudi Arabia but we cant go there if we touch a stone of the muslims holy sites/cities the saudi king will call a holy war and we'll get our asses kicked out of the middle east and anywhere else in any islamic country and 3rd we cant go to iran yet because we dont have enough troops and if we do go into iran those ppl are crazy and they all will fight there wont be 3 different ethnic groups against each other...and we cant bomb pakistan cuz they have a nuke......so yeah...were screwed Retard + beta software = whiny bitch TE-Gooberman wrote: hammy would hit anything as long as he couldnt tell what its gender was.  Top

Plus, you underestimate the US arsenal. We have the most and the most powerful nuclear bombs on the entire planet. We could blow up the planet 10 times over with our nuclear arsenal. If we were really cold hearted and ruthless like so many other countries, we could have simply glassed all of our enemies. Besides, Nukes aren't the only weapons out there. We have more sophisticated weapons than anyone else. Ever hear of a Neutron bomb? Probly not. It's a device that will kill off any human life within a certain area, but not harm any machinery or electronics. We can simply walk in, kill off every single human, and take every single weapon for ourselves. Why don't we do this? because we're democratic. We're humane. we value human life. That's why we don't go around bombing like crazy. We do our best to minimalize civilian casualties.  Top

(the reichstag or something...some kinda german capital building) and the cold war started because the russians and the US feared eachother cuz each side had nuclear weapons. thats part of the cuban missile crisis...all a fear of nukes.  Top
