Intel does have its good points, such as the cheapest dual core around, plenty to choose from, and the mobos used can use ddr2 ram.Hyperthreading is also pretty useful.
I still like AMD,1ghz fsb ![Cool 8)](./images/smilies/icon_cool.gif) |

Athlons do run hotter ONLY when theres no heat sink. Some guy ran some tests with a laser thermometer. P4 with: 52C without: 186C but it still ran when the heatsink was put back Athlon XP: with:32C without 625C and melted. Intels do give off more heat because they have higher frequencies, which means... |

What are you talking about? its not that complicated.its just faster than agp 8x and if you want to use 2 cards, theres a switch on the mobo to go to 1 or 2 cards, and then you just put the bridge on the side of the cards, its not that hard.
agp x8:14Gb/s
pcie x16: 18Gb/s |

And you really dont need a new chip and ram.you can still use the same processor and ram as long as they are compatable with the mobo.I could put my pc3200 ram into my dads computer, and he doesnt have pcie.it works, trust me. To me,it was worth the money.I was buying a completely new computer, part by... |
